Johnny Ferguson

Johnny Ferguson, 48, of Dingess died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Johnny was born on June 14, 1967 in Logan, West Virginia. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Jim and Emily Ferguson and Martha Messer; one brother Timothy Ferguson; one nephew Donald Jr. Newsome. Survivors include his parents, Leslie Ferguson of Dingess and Alma Colegrove of Fort Gay; one brother Allen (Mary) Ferguson of Chapmanville; three sisters, Donna Ferguson of Glen Allen, VA , Emily Ann (Steve) Wellman of Glen Allen, VA, Elaine Newsome of Dingess; nephews and one niece, Brandon (DeeDee) and Austin Ferguson, Jacqulyn and Timothy Newsome, Joshua Macon, Christian and Hunter Wellman and one great-nephew, Abel Ferguson. Services will be held at Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church at East Fork of Twelvepole with Sid Stroud officiating. Visitation for family will be from 5-7 p.m.; for friends and family from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 on Sunday, Dec.6. Burial will follow at the Ferguson Cemetery. James Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
