Judith Wooten

Judith Wooten, 61 of Logan passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at her home.

She was born July 14, 1961, at Man, WV to the late George and Loretta Muncey. Judy was a devoted and faithful Christian who never met a stranger. “Mama Judy” had love and compassion that was unparalleled. She has a great passion for the arts and theatre whether performing, helping, or enjoying. Her home was a haven for all who loved her and she loved being surrounded by family and friends.

Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Kermit Wooten; brother, David Muncey; sons, Shaun (Mary) Clay, and Josh (Tiffany) Clay; daughter, Alex Wooten; step-children, Chrissy Wooten, and Bub (Beck) Wooten; grandchildren, Sid Clay, Sophie Clay, Draven Clay, Lola Clay, and Scarlett Clay. She is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Honoring her wishes her remains are to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at the Monahill FWB Church. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. with services to follow officiated by Rev. Joseph Vance.
