Kelsie Copley

Kelsie O’Neal Copley 71 of Ethel, WV made her journey home Saturday September 18, 2021. She was born November 11, 1950, at Logan, WV to the late Dorsey and Imogene (Mounts) Davis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Tommy and Jackie Davis; sisters, Josephine Prichard and Jeanie Davis. Kelsie was a member of the Greenview Church of Christ. She was a homemaker and loved cooking and gardening. Kelsie enjoyed vacations to the beach and Tennessee, but her favorite pastime was being with her family. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 50 years, Bobby D. Copley Sr. of Ethel WV; sons, Bobby Copley Jr. also of Ethel, and David Copley of Man, WV; daughter in law, Julie Copley; grandchildren, Autum Copley of Charleston, WV, Emma & Cody Copley both of Ethel, WV. Kelsie is loved & missed by a host of in laws, nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, October 1, 2021, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Runyon officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of the service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
