Kenneth "Sonny" Leykham

Kenneth “Sonny” Leykam of Aracoma, WV departed this life on August 1, 2022. He was born in Logan, WV on July 2, 1940. He was the son of the late Harley and Christine Leykam.

     Throughout Sonny’s life, he enjoyed working alongside his father. He and his father worked on cars, spent many hours helping the Logan County Emergency Ambulance Authority directing traffic during accidents, and volunteered parking cars for special events. He also enjoyed helping out at Akers-James Funeral Home.

     Sonny liked spending time with family. He looked forward to the holidays during which they enjoyed being together visiting and eating big meals.

     Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV with Reverend Scotty Dingess officiating.
