Kennith R. Browning, 62, of Harts formerly of Mud Fork passed away at his residence Sunday morning. He was born April 19, 1944. He was a son of the late Willie and Jenethal Collins Browning. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers; Billy Ray and Ernest "Shot" Browning. Also two nephews; Brennan Browning and Chad Perdue. He was a retired coal miner of Logan Union #5958 Arch Coal Co. His survivors include his three sons; William Browning of Elkins, WV., Kennith Raymond (Stephanie) Browning II of Holden and Jeremy Browning of Peach Creek. Two daughters; Melody Browning of Statesville, NC., and Sonya (Jr.) Browning Grimmett of Statesville, NC. He is also survived by three brothers; James "Arnold", Roger, and Ora Lee all of Mud Fork. Six sisters; Kathryn Browning, Barbara Sue Hale, Naomi "Pee Wee" Hensley, Judy Stamper, Shirley Tomblin and Toni Perdue all of Mud Fork. Eleven grandchildren; Aaron and Kendra Bumgarner, Kayla, Kammi, Brandon and Hailey Grimmett. Ashley, Justin and Tyler Browning and Austin and Katie Browning. One great-grandchild, Landon Grimmett and many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Also surviving him is a special companion, Darlene Lester of Harts and his ex-wife of 30 years, Myrtle (Raymond) White of Elkins, WV and Jamie (Thompson) Browning formerly of Sarah Ann. Mr. Browning remains have been cremated at his request. A memorial service will be held in his honor at Francis Creek Freewill Baptist Church on Wednesday February 21, 2007 at 6:00 P.M with special speaker, John R. Spears.
