Landen Baisden

Landen “Bubby” Baisden III, 49 of Dingess, WV went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 24, 2021, when he lost his hard-fought battle with cancer, at home surrounded by family. Bubby was born May 26, 1972, to Landen Jr. and Katherine Baisden. He was the “golden child” of 7 siblings. He enjoyed running many types of heavy equipment or helping in any way he could with the Dingess buddy league. He served as the superintendent of many strip mines. One of his favorite things to do was to spend time with all his children, grandchildren, no matter how loud or crazy they were. Everyone will always remember him blasting his music for the whole neighborhood or any of the silly songs he would make up. He was preceded in death by his mother, Katherine Baisden; grandparents, Landon and Fannie Baisden; infant son, Mason; and mother-in-law, Donna Noe. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Kayla Baisden; father, Landen (Misty) Baisden Jr.; children, Deven (Timothy) Runyon, Payton (Scott) Wilson, Landen (Jennifer) Baisden IV, Donovan Baisden, Mason Browning, and Madison Browning; grandchildren, Bricelyn, Emmett, Joselyn, Kohlson, Lorelai, Elliett, and Hudson; seven siblings, two step-siblings, and a host of family and friends that could never be counted. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2021, at the Lenore Fellowship Baptist Church with Revs. Donald Stroud and James Baisden officiating. Burial will follow in the Baisden Family Cemetery at Dingess. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2021, at the church.
