Linda Lou McAllister Hall âage 70 of Blair, WV passed away Sunday; April 29, 2018. Born December 11, 1947, she was the daughter of the late James William âBillâ McAllister and Hazel Elkins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her infant son, Jeffery Edward Hall, a daughter, Lesa Hall Smith, a sister, Pam Browning, four brothers, Larry James, Jimmy, Charlie McAllister, and Kelly Dean Elkins, and a brother-in-law, Ken Perry.
Linda grew up on Mud Fork and thatâs where she met the love of her life and devoted husband of 53 years, Danny. They began their life together in 1965 and built a life full of love and caring for others. Linda was a homemaker and thoroughly enjoyed that role in her family. She was commonly known as one of the best cooks in Kelly Holler. Her homemade breakfast could turn any frown upside down. It never mattered what time it was, or who you were, if you came to her house hungry, she would gladly prepare a delicious meal for you. She had a unique passion for others, she wasnât just a mother to her own kids, she was a mother to all. Her loving, caring, selfless nature didnât just end with people. She also had a deep love for animals and was always caring for them. Linda was truly one of the most patient and compassionate people you could ever know. She was an active Jehovah Witness and that brought her a lot of joy and comfort. She loved to be with her family and her family loved to be with her. Her beautiful smile lit up every room, her laugh was contagious. There was never a time when she wasnât a pleasant person to be around. She was the one that glued our family together. She will forever be loved and deeply missed by all.
