Louella Copley

Louella Copley, 96 of Ethel departed this life Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 15, 1927, at Ethel to the late Elza and Susanne (Damron) Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Blaine Copley; sons, Gary, Jaime, and Bob Copley; grandchildren, Bobby Copley and Rhonda Mullins; son-in-law, Oakley Messer; and daughter-in-law, Kelsey Copley.

Louella was a member of the Yuma Church of Christ. She enjoyed shopping and being on the go when she was able.

She is survived by her children; Ted (Teresa) Copley, Lynn (Larry) Alt, Deb Messer, Rick Copley, Cathy (Jimmy) Mullins, and Michael (Shelia) Copley; grandchildren, Shannon (Kenny), David (Julie), Heather (Pete), Brandon, Mark, Jayme Dawn, Samanetha, John Michael, Joseph, and Kaycee; great-grandchildren, Jordan (Julie), Amber Dawn (Brent), Austin, Nathan, Zach, Autum, Leandra, John Luke, Lidia, Bethany, Blake, Haley, DJ, Jesse (Brie), Emma, and Cody; great-great-grandchildren, Caden, River, Tensley, Freya, and daughter-in-law, Melody. Louella is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Denny Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Teddy Copley, Mike Copley, Rick Copley, Dave Copley, Jordan Alt, and Mark Alt.
