Lucille Flarence Edenton

Lucille Flarence Edenton 94 of Monaville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday May 27, 2007 at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington. She was born August 27, 1912 at Natural Bridge, Va. She was the daughter of the late Earnest and Mary Clark Mayo. Also preceding her in death was her husband: Joseph Benjamin Edenton, Daughter: Alma Jean Steele, Son-in-law: Delmar "Deedo" Curry and great grandson: Jamie Ryan Curry. Lucille was a member of Central United Baptist Church and attended Monaville Community Church. Those left to cherish her memory are her son: Bill (Kim) Edenton of Stollings, her daughter: Mary Louise Curry of Huntington, son-in-law: Robert "Bob" Steele of Huntington, six grandchildren: Del (Anna Mary) Curry of Logan, Donna Brumfield of Chapmanville, Regina (Mike) Jones of Tampa, Florida, Connie Curry, Robert "Benjy" (Kellie) Steele and Mary Beth Miller all of Huntington and eleven great grandchildren: Gina Brumfield, Dr. Deidra Brumfield, Meagan Cassidy, Kaitlin Miller, Amanda Steele, Abigail Steele, Jacob Steele, Justin Jones, Bridgett Jones, Christopher Curry and Ashley Curry. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday May 31, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ted Wilburn and Rev. Glenn White officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday May 30, 2007 at James Funeral Home.
