Lucretia Adkins

Lucretia “Lukie” Adkins of West Logan, WV went home to be with the Lord on February 7, 2017. She was born on July 4, 1926 in Charlotte, NC. She was retired from the phone company in Tampa, FL. She was an active member of Nighbert Memorial Methodist Church and the Crusaders class. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Irene Keistler, her brother and sisters, and her loving husband of 64 years Glen Heck Adkins. Lukie is survived by her sister in law Nancy Adkins of West Logan, WV, Nephews David (April) Adkins of Chapmanville, Mark (Connie) Adkins of Holden, Monty Keistler of North Carolina, Niece Jay Anna (Charles) Ellis of Verdunville, Great Nephews Wes Adkins of Stollings, Aaron (Adrian) Adkins of Pineville, Great Niece Kelly Ann (Mike) Aleshire of Chapmanville, Great Grandnieces Lauren Grace Aleshire, Kali Jade Adkins, Great Grandnephew Aiden Gaige Adkins and a host of special church friends. Pallbearers will be David Adkins, Mark Adkins, Wes Adkins, Aaron Adkins, Charles Ellis and Mike Aleshire. Services will be conducted at James Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1:00 pm with the Reverend John Reed officiating. Special singing will be performed by Malissa Reed. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
