Lula Tomblin

Lula Tomblin, 63, of Dingess passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born February 4, 1944 at Wayne, WV to the late Truman Russell and Ruby Wooten. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Tomblin, three brothers and two sisters. Lula was a homemaker and attended Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church. She is survived by eight children; Gary Wooten of Dingess, LaDon (Mike) Thomason of Winchester, TN, Larry (Janet) Wooten of Columbus, OH, William "Buddy" Tomblin of Dingess, Willard Jr. "Boo" (Donna) Tomblin of Dingess, Erin "Blue Eyes" (Lisa) Tomblin of Columbus, OH, Benjamin Joe (Renee) Tomblin of Dingess, and Teddy Ray (Tonya) Tomblin of Columbus, OH. One brother, Emmzy Wooten of Michigan. Twenty-one grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many other family, friends, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Friday, August 31, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 1, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Sid Moore officiating. Burial will follow at the Tomblin Cemetery at Dingess.
