Lura Nelson Damron

Lura Nelson Damron 74 of Logan Passed away Sunday December 6, 2009 at Logan Regional Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1935 in Logan. She was the daughter of the Maryetta White Nelson of Albany, Ohio and the late Fred Nelson. She was preceded in death by her husband Massie Damron and her daughter Rosemary Damron and one grandchild Stephanie R. Damron.She is survived by a twin brother Lelin Nelson of Shade, Ohio, sisters Glanna Rose Watkins and pealie May White both of Albany, Ohio Daughters Theresa McKinnon of Logan and Doris Michaloff and husband John Patrick of Switzer, Sons Billy R. (Julie Ann) Damron of Holden, Fred L. Damron of Logan, Grady L. Damron of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Massie (Karen) Damron Jr. of Ethel, Ricky E. Damron of Logan, Tommy R. (Loretta) Damron of Logan and Lonnie G. Damron of Logan. 51 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren and 13 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday December 11, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Godby officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
