Lyda Frances Wilburn of Rossmore, WV departed this life Sunday, February 2, 2020 at CAMC Memorial at Charleston, WV.
Frances was born February 20, 1952 at Ethel, WV to the late James and Viola (Booth) Wilburn. She was a 1970 graduate of Logan Senior High School. Frances attended The Church of God in the name of Jesus Christ at Monitor, WV for 48 years. She was full of life and loved everyone she met. Her family was everything to her. Frances has a contagious smile and a beautiful bubbly personality. Her passion was sewing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Frances always said, âBeautiful things come together one stitch at a time.â
In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Wilburn; sisters, Ora (Mara) and Polly Wilburn Mullins; nieces, Erica Wilburn and Leslie Williamson.
She is survived by her sisters, Stella Wilburn and LouAnn (Ronnie) Wooten; her brother, James Ricky (Debbie) Wilburn; her nephews, whom she raised, Jim (Nikki) Mullins, Matthew (Scotty Cook Mullins) Mullins; nieces, Haley (Jeremiah) Wilburn, Chrystel Williamson; nephews, Brenton (Jennifer) Wilburn, Christopher (Emma) Noe, Dana (Shana) Wilburn and Daniel Wilburn; great-nieces and nephews, Alissa, Cassie, Justin, Kaleb, Bentley, and Brayden; aunts, Sadie Booth and Hester Litteral; brother-in-law, Jerry Mullins; special people, Kaylee Webb and Hunter Rose. Family and friends special to Frances were Vickie and Doug Hibbs, Lucy Crum, Mitzi Rick, Tammy Spurlock, Teresa Hileman, Okey Newsome, Lola Holland, Sue Dameron, Julie Peyton, Marie Redmond, Ruby Spradlin, Ernie Douglas, The Codispoti Family, Tina Jenkins, Pastor David Parsons, his wife Shannon, and his mother Patsy Parsons, and her church family whom she loved greatly.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor David Parsons officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
