Mabel Workman Webb Bryant, 86, of Wilkinson went to be with her Lord late Tuesday evening, August 7, 2007 at Logan Regional Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 8, 1921 at Verdunville a daughter of the late Robert and Pearl Dempsey Workman. She was also preceded in death by her brothers; Don, Edgar, Jerry and Ralph Workman. Her sisters; Idelen Maynard and Connie Diebert. Her son, William Ray Webb and son-in-law, Amos Doss. Mabel is survived by her sons; Robert (Pam) Webb of Wakeman, Ohio, Larry Webb of Wilkinson. Her daughters; Janet Doss of Wilkinson and Charlotte (Del) Bryant of Plain City, Ohio. Her sister, Madeline Darnell of Horse Cave, Ky. Her special sister-in-law, Irene Workman and daughter-in-law, Diana Webb of Verdunville. Other survivors include her ten grandchildren; Farron (Melissa) Doss of Verdunville, Garole (Garth) Hensley of Ridgeview, Angie (Chris) Walker of Plain City, Ohio, Doug (Amy) Bryant of Marysville, Ohio, Rob (Theresa) Webb of New London, Ohio, Andrea (Doug) Adkins of Taylorsville, NC., Gabriel Webb of Virginia, Joshua Webb of Verdunville and LaDonna and Jason Webb of Indiana. Thirteen great-grandchildren; Brandon, Brittany, Kade and Maggie Doss. Ronica Hensley, Lindsey Walker, Derek Bryant, Robbie, Ryan and Cheyenne Webb. William and Noah Adkins and Cheyenne Webb. Mabel was a beautiful Christian and a blessing to her family and all who knew her. Mabel made her home at Wilkinson with her daughter, Janet. Her son Larry and daughters, Charlotte and Janet were blessed to take care of their mom for the last 2 years. In lieu of flowers the family asks that Memorial Contributions be made to, Dignity Hospice. P.O Box 4303, Chapmanville, WV 25508 or to the Central United Baptist Church Youth Group at Logan. Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday, August 10, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. and one hour prior to the services at Central United Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Glenn White Jr. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Family and Friends will be pallbearers. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com.
