Mark McNeely

Mark McNeely, 63 of Crooked Creek, WV departed this life Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Cleveland Clinic at Cleveland, OH. He was born September 10, 1956 at Logan, WV to Bethel Howard McNeely and the late Pam (McMillian) McNeely. In addition to his mother he was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Jean Bunch; paternal grandparents, Manny McNeely and Mary McNeely; and maternal grandparents, Bertha McMillian and Ralph McMillian. Mark was a 1974 graduate of Logan High School. He was a member of the UMWA and the Crooked Creek Church of Christ. In addition to his father he is survived by his wife Teresa (Bunch) McNeely; daughter, Jeana (Ralph) Smith; son, Jonathan McNeely; granddaughter, Emma McNeely; grandsons, Nathan McNeely and Phillip Smith; sisters, Lynne (Tracy) Butcher and Eillen (Kenny) Nutter; brothers, Joel (Regina) McNeely, Dan (Kathy) McNeely, Aaron McNeely, and Benjamin (Debbie) McNeely; brother-in-law, Charles Bunch; father-in-law, Vernon Bunch; sisters-in-law, Donna (Chuck) Long, and Kathy (Robbie) Bryant. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Crooked Creek Church of Christ with Pastor Ralph Perry officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill, WV. Pallbearers will be Jonathan McNeely, Joel McNeely, Dan McNeely, Aaron McNeely, Ben McNeely, and Charles Bunch. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2019 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan.
