Martha Lynn Bailey, 70 of Holden, WV went to be with the Lord, Friday, August 7, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
She was born May 30, 1950 at Holden, WV to the late Rush and Mary (Collins) Johnson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her In-Laws, Charles and Louise Bailey; sister, Karen McGuire; sisters-in-law, Wanda Bailey, Nancy Clemens, Diane Hager, Dollene Bailey, and Betty Flint; brothers-in-law, Dillard Smallwood, Joe Lukacs, and George Flint; nephews, Chad Clemens, Donny Lukacs, Johnny Lukacs, and Jonathan Lukacs. She was also preceded in death by several other family members.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 52 years, Chester Bailey; daughters, Mary (Lowell) White of Chapmanville, WV, Theresa (Paul) Gaylock of Mt. Gay, WV, and Christine (Michael) Woody of Lake, WV; sisters, Lyla Ann Adams, Sharon (David) Ramey, and Francis Smallwood; sisters-in-law, Patty Flint and Marcie Lukacs; brothers-in-law, Eugene Bailey, David (Betty) Bailey, Freddy Flint, and Randy Clemens; uncles, James Collins and Dave Collins; grandchildren, Kayla (Gregory) Woody, Joshua Bailey (Lauren Ellis), Dustin White, Kaleb (Ryan) Caldwell, Christien Horvath, and Halee Belle Woody; great-grandchildren, Jaycob Woody, Jase Bailey, Kayden and Remington Caldwell, and Jaxton Robertson. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and so many friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and hospitality that has been shown for her and the family. Thank you also to the doctors and burses at CAMC Memorial, Logan County 911, the paramedics, and Logan Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at the 5&6 Holden FWB Church with Pastor Larry Light officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville. Friends may call from 12 p.m. until the time of the service, Wednesday at the church.
