Martha Leah Browning

Martha Leah Browning, 84 of Sailsbury, NC, formerly of Logan, WV departed this life Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at her residence.

She was born August 7, 1938, to the late Goble and Garnet (Roberts) Spangler. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roy David Browning; son, Darin Browning; 3 brothers, and 1 sister.

She is survived by her sons, David Browning, Bobby Browning, and Jerry Browning; daughters, Cynthia (Browning) Hall and Susan (Browning) Hall; 17 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Hartwell officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
