Mary E. Burgess

Mary E. Burgess, 69, of Chapmanville formerly of Rum Creek departed this life on Friday, October 5, 2007 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Mary was born February 23, 1938 to the late Albert and Readith Burgess. She was also preceded in death by two sisters; Janet Steukoff and Joyce Anderson. One brother, Paul Burgess, and one brother-in-law, Randy "Jake" Adkins. Survivors includes her daughter, Kimberly Burgess. Her grandson, Mike Burgess and great-grand-daugher, Mackalya Burgess all of Clearwater, Fla. Her brothers; Albert "Shot" (Betty) Burgess of Verdunville and Michael E. (Olsey) Burgess of Lake. Her sister, Tammy Adkins (Jack) Gibson of Crooked Creek. A special niece, Brandy Adkins (Jeremy) Brumfield of Crooked Creek and a special nephew, Michael P. Burgess. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 9, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Highland Memory Gardens. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be; Michael E. Burgess, Joshua Gibson, Jack Gibson, Junior Midkiff, Mike Burgess and Greg Burgess.
