Mary Jane Cunningham 86 of Peach Creek, West Virginia passed away Wednesday March 30, 2011 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Mary was born February 5, 1925 at Staata Mill, West Virginia in Jackson County. She was the daughter of the late Leonard and Ethel Waybright Casto.
She was a 1942 graduate of Ripley High School. She attended the Crooked Creek Church of Christ where she was active until her illness. She was one of the founding partners of M & J Jewelers located in Man.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years George M. Cunningham and one granddaughter Crystal Dawn Cunningham. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Denver Casto and Leonard Casto, Jr. and one sister Mildred Casto Randolph.
Survivors include three children Sandra (Richard) Ray, Shirley (James) Ruggles and David (Nora) Cunningham of Logan County, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday April 4, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Tim Secrist officiating. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
