Mary Gibson

Mary L. Gibson, 87, of Elgin, Illinois formerly of Logan, passed away Monday at Sherman Hospital in Elgin. She was born June 18, 1921 in Gilbert, WV a daughter of the late Ellery and Josie Grimmett Brown. Also preceding her in death was her husband Charlie Cecil Gibson, three sons Earl, Darrell and Paul and one daughter Sandra Queen. Survivors include her four sons Harold, Johnny, Jimmy and Sottie Gibson all of Elgin, Illinois. One Daughter Rose Talbot also of Elgin, Illinois and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the James Funeral Home Chapel with the Brother James Queen officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens.
