Mary Vance

Mary Vance, 83 of Meadowview, VA formally of Logan WV departed this life for her heavenly home on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

She was born November 19, 1938, in Dingess, WV. The daughter of the late Jessie and Myrtle Messer. She was preceded in death by her husband Freelin Vance Sr. and a son, Freelin “Bug” Vance Jr.

She is survived by 1 sister and 1 brother; daughters

, Mary Ann (Mark) Bias of Meadowview, VA, Marsha (Michael) Bradley of Whitman, WV, and Tammy (Timmy) Robertson of Meadowview, VA; sons, Woody Vance of Dingess, WV, and Christopher (Nikki) Vance of Little Harts Creek, WV; 9 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many many friends.

Visitation will be Monday, November 14, 2022, at Akers-James Funeral Home from 6-9pm.

Funeral services will be Tuesday November 15, 2022, at 12:00 pm at the Mt. Moriah United Baptist Church, East Fork of Twelve Pole Dingess, WV. Burial will follow in the Gid Vance Family Cemetery.
