Mary Frances Workman of Chapmanville, WV went to be with Jesus on August 21, 2018 after a short illness.
She was born on November 5, 1946 at Pinch, WV; the daughter of the late Ralph (John) and Marie Parsons. Mary was a retired AT&T employee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earthel Workman, one granddaughter, Avery Grace Workman, and her brother, Ralph E. Parsons.
She is survived by her son, Sean (Emily) Workman of Mt. Pleasant, North Carolina; sisters, Louise (Dan) Addison of Holden, West Virginia, Karen Maynard of Grafton, West Virginia, Sandra (jimmy) Podunavac of Verdunville, West Virginia, Brenda (Eddie) Podunavac of Verdunville, West Virginia; one Aunt, Frances (Bill) Mullens of Ravenswood, West Virginia; special friends, Mary Moore of Peach Creek, West Virginia, Jean Miller of Beckley, West Virginia, Brenda Adkins of Beckley, West Virginia and many friends and family.
Services will be conducted by Daniel Addison at 12 p.m. Saturday August 25, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum, Beckley, West Virginia.
The family wishes to thank the physicians, nurses, and staff of CAMC Cancer Center, CAMC Memorial Hospital, Logan Regional Medical Center, and Genesis Logan Center for their special care of Mary, and the love and prayers given by her family, friends, and area churches.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Breast Cancer Research Center.
