Mebel Mae McCloud

Mebel Mae (Chambers) McCloud 88 of Justice Addition passed away Saturday June 21, 2008 at Trinity Healthcare Services at Henlawson. She was born October 19, 1919 at Lake, WV. She was the daughter of the late Lucian and Dicie (White) Chambers. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband Grady McCloud, her sonNaaman McCloud, her sister Edith Ferrell and brothers Roy Chambers, Foster Chambers and Naaman Chambers. Mebel was a member of The Henlawson Church of Christ, Henlawson, WV. She was also a graduate of Logan High School. She is survived by her Daughter: Janet McCloud of Justice Addition, Granddaughters: Carol (Charles) Brinegar of Lexington, Ky. and Melody (Chad) Plumley of Huntington, WV, Four Great Grandchildren: Brokklyn Brinegar and Braxton Brinegar of Lexington, Ky. and Mazie Plumley and Sage Plumley of Huntington, WV, Brother: Louie (Lily) Chambers of Mill Creek, WV, Sisters: Elsie (Virlen) McNeely of Chapmanville,WV, Edna Maynard of Godby Heights, WV and Christie Stevens of North Mitchell Heights, WV, Sister-in-laws: Melvena Sizemore of Crooked Creek, WV and Gloria Chambers of Ramage, WV. Mebel was also preceded in death by 3 special nephews and survived by several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday June 24, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Roger Brewster officiating. Burial will follow at Chambers Cemetery at Mill Creek. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. Monday June 23, 2008 at James Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jeff Stevens, Bill Stevens, John Counts, Jimmy Chambers, Roger Hughes and Joey Stevens.
