Melvin Horvath

Melvin Horvath, 46 of West Logan, WV departed this life Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

He was born September 17, 1976, in Logan, WV to Brenda (Curry) Horvath and the late Gary Horvath. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Freda (Berti) Hrovath, Melvin (Nelda), and Pauline Curry; uncles, Andrew Horvath and David (Jenny) Curry.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Christian Horvath; brother, Gary (Kimberly) Horvath; sister, Tanya (Allen) Lardieri; nieces, Cassidy Clary, Mackenzie Horvath, Madeline Lardieri, and Abigail Lardieri; nephews, Steven Horvath, Jared Marcum, Alex Lardieri, and Jaxon Horvath; auns, Diana Hill, and Janie Harvath; uncle, Eugen (Sharon) Horvath; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at Akers-James Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday, October 25, 2022, also at the funeral home.
