Michael Hunt

Michael Hunt, 58, of Marietta, Ohio, went to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, January 9, 2017, at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born on November 17, 1958, in Logan, son of the late Warren Hunt and Mary Ann Tomblin. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister Robin Hunt, his brother, Marvin Hunt of Pikeville, KY, and sister Dianna Zimmer of Galatin, TN. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Marines, where he received an honorable discharge. After that, he worked for Becker Heating and Cooling, as well as other odd jobs. He is survived by one daughter, Alesa Southers of Logan, and four grandchildren, Shayla, Gavyn, Zoey, and Gaige. Also surviving are brothers, Tyrone Hunt of Logan, Bear (Tammy) Pfeifer of Locland, FL, and Bo (Carol) Pfeiffer of Carey, OH; sisters, Irene Trent(Denvil) of Marietta, Ohio, Rosemary Andriulli (John) of South Hampton, New Jersey, Drew Hunt of Williamson, WV, and Lahoma (Jim) Buckley of Sebring, FL and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, January 13, 2017, at Akers – James Funeral Home in Logan, with Phyllis Tomblin officiating. Friends may call 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday.
