Michael Lee Vance

Michael Lee Vance, 42, of Logan departed this life on Monday April 9, 2007 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington. Michael was born August 8, 1964 a son of Elder Kenneth and Margaret Vance of Logan. He was employed by Heartland Express, Inc. and will be sadly missed by his loved ones. During his short time on earth, Michael touched the hearts of many with his kindness and generosity. Michael was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Paul Vance. Survivors include his wife, Linda Mitchell Vance of Logan. Two daughters; Ashley and April and one son, Mikey Vance all of Lake. Four brothers; Kenneth (Lynn) Vance of Sara Ann, Bill (Fran) Vance of Jacksonville, Fl., Mark (Pam) Vance of Mt. Gay and Anthony (Tammy) Vance of Bellevue, KY. Two sisters; Mary (Allen) Ferguson of Chapmanville and Sarah (Jeff) Vance of Genoa, WV. Also surviving are six nephews and three nieces. Visitation will be Thursday April 12, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday April 13, 2007 at 11:00 A.M at the Mt. Zion Old Regular Baptist Church at Canoe Branch in Crawley Creek with Elder Roger Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery also in Canoe Branch.
