Nervia Rutherford

Nervia Marie Rutherford 88 of 5 and 6 Holden, WV went home to be with her Heavenly Father on Saturday January 17, 2009. She was born on March 26, 1920 at Cora. She was the daughter of the late Zechariah and Louise (Spry) Wiley. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her loving husbands the late Phillip H. Davis of 12 years and the late Earl Rutherford of 37 years, one daughter Phyllis Davis Gore, two brothers William Wiley and Johnny (Zack) Wiley, six sisters Stella Fender, Virgie Robinette, Gertie Dingess, Roxie Vance, Nancy Wiley and Evie Wiley. Surviving family members include one son Phillip (Betty) Davis, two daughters Sharon (Davis) Browning, Jennifer Gail (Rutherfored) Jarrell all of Holden, WV, four grandchildren Jeanetta L. Davis, Andrea (Paul) Townsend, Brett (Susan) Browning and Earl Rutherford Jarrell. Her great grandchildren Eric Browning, Gabrielle Townsend, Stephanie (Nikki) Davis and Kyle Browning along with a host of loving relatives and special friends. She was a member of 5 & 6 Holden Freewill Baptist Church at Holden for 56 years. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday January 20, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at the 5 & 6 Holden Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Light officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation for family and friends will begin on Tuesday January 20, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the church.
