Oretha (Weezie) Louise Zamow

Oretha Louise “Weezie” Zamow, 81 of West Logan departed this life Saturday September 8, 2018. She was born December 5, 1936 to the late Gaylord and Oma Harmon. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by: her husband, James E. Zamow; son, James D. Zamow; brothers, Troy Harmon and Larry Harmon; sisters, Shelia Ferguson, and Delores Hall. Louise was retired from the US Postal Service. She is survived by: her daughter, Kathi (Archie) Adkins; son, Kevin Zamow; daughter-in-law, Ruthann Zamow; nephew, Tom (Vivian) Zamow; brothers, Tom (Sue) Harmon, Doug (Bettina) Harmon, and Duke Harmon; grandchildren, James Zamow, Katie (Dan) Russell, Amber Brewer, Karen Zamow, and Tommy Zamow; 5 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and her dog Harley. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday September 13, 2018 at Akers-James Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Spears officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
