Pamela Mae McNeely, 77, of Crooked Creek departed this life Thursday January 4, 2007 in Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She was born May 25, 1929 in Peach Creek to the late Ralph and Bertha Vernatter McMillen. Mrs. McNeely was a Sunday School Teacher and a longtime member of the Crooked Creek Church of Christ. She retired from the Logan County Board of Education as a Payroll Clerk and was a Graduate of the former Huntington Century College of Commerce. Survivors include her loving husband, Ralph McNeely of Crooked Creek. Her seven children; Joel (Regina) McNeely of Chapmanville, Dan (Kathy) McNeely of Barboursville, Mark (Teresa) McNeely of Crooked Creek, Lynne (Tracy) Butcher of Holden, Aaron McNeely of Mt. Gay, Eileen (Kenney) Nutter of Kernersville, N.C., and Ben (Debbie) McNeely of Dayton, OH. One sister, Barbara Ring of Alexandria, Louisiana. Twenty five grandchildren and Fourteen great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Saturday January 6, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M Sunday January 7, 2007 at the Crooked Creek Church of Christ and also one hour prior to the services at the church with Rev. Tim Secrist and Rev. Bill McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Crooked Creek Church of Christ or a Charity of your choice. Sons and Son-in-laws will serve as pallbearers.
