Patricia Finley

Patricia Elizabeth Finley 80 of Dingess, WV departed this life to be with the Lord on Sunday April 24, 2011 at Charleston Area Medical Center Memorial following a short illness. Born in Manitowac, Wisconsin on October 13, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Leon and Edna Elk Wood of Wisconsin. She was a member of the Maryetta United Baptist Church for many years. A loving Mother and Grandmother she enjoyed spending time with family and she created many wonderful memories. Patricia will be remembered for her unconditional love and kindness and many years of dedication and support to her family and friends. Also preceding her in death was her husband Roy Finley and her grandson Rickie Allen Gillman, Jr. Those left to cherish her memory are two brothers Walley Wood of Wisconsin, Bob Wood of North Carolina and one sister Sharon Gallagher of Wisconsin, her childrn Sharon (Kenney) Collier of Dingess, Mike Underwood of Houston, Texas, Debbie (Rickie) Gillman of Dingess, Tammy (Matt) Colegrove of Lenore and Jeff Finley. She had eleven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday April 28, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Maryetta United Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Gore and Rev. Barney Goins officiating. Burial will follow in the Finley Family Cemetery at Dingess. Visitation will be from 6-10 P.M. Wednesday at the church.Online condolences may be sent to www.jamesfh.com.
