Patricia Ann Marcum

Patricia Ann Marcum, 64 of Jeffrey, WV left this world from Logan Regional Medical Center holding her daughter’s hand on March 19, 2022.

Trish, as she was known, was born April 30, 1957, in Cincinnati, OH to James Linville Stevens and Wanda Music. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Brack Finley, Ruby Sparkman, Priar Stevens, and Nellie Eldridge-Stevens.

Trish called Boone County home for most of her life, and she loved it. She was formerly employed by Madison Florist, Wendy’s, and she was a caregiver. Trish loved beautiful things, especially her family, flowers, dolphins, and her dog, Chunky Monkey.

She is survived by her daughter, Lawanda (TJ) Bentler; granddaughter, Destiny Anne Bentler both of Ottawa, WV; her companion, Mike Ramey of Jeffrey; sister, Wanda (Jerry) Sutphin of Jeffrey; half-sister, Joanna (Robert) Roland of Georgetown, OH; brothers, James Stevens, and Rick Music of North Carolina; she is also survived by a host of family and friends who loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Akers-James Funeral Home with Revs. Joe Lane and Jerry Sutphin officiating. Burial will follow in the Sutphin Family Cemetery at Jeffrey. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service, Saturday at the funeral home.
