Patty Jean Hale

Patty Jean Hale (Grannie) 78 of Logan passed away Thursday June 30, 2011 at Trinity Healthcare of Henlawson. Born June 21, 1933 at Lyburn. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Virginia Angels Walls. Also preceding her in death was her husband Alderson D. Hale II, One daughter Jean Ann Hale Miller, one son Alderson D. "Corky" Hale III, two brothers Claude Walls and R.D. Walls of Logan also her father-in-law and mother -in-law Alderson D. and Zella Barker Hale. Patty was a retired Postmaster of Henlawson and a former teacher's aide for Logan County Schools. She was a former resident of the Aracoma Hotel. Survivors include her grandson A.D. (Krista) Hale of Hurricane, one granddaughter Avery Dakota Hale of Hurricane, a special daughter-in-law Cindy (John) Armstrong of Holden, two brothers Bill Walls of Mitchell Heights and J.C. Walls of Kentucky, four sister-in-laws Naomi (Harold) Ward of Henlawson, Arbutus (Ray) Killen of Mill Creek, Jean Carper of Henlawson and Betty Dingess of Ashland, Kentucky. Her "Chili Dog" and friends from the Aracoma Hotel. Numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Saturday July 2, 2011 at Highland Memory Gardens at Godby with Pastor John Godby officiating. There will be no visitation. Online condolences may be sent to www.jamesfh.com.
