Paul H. Balentine, 76 of Micco, WV joined his heavenly father on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Paul gave his life to the Lord 54 years ago and continued his faithful walk all these years. He was the humblest loving man you ever met, with the occasional outbreak of being very funny. He loved his family, but God was always first in his life.
Paul was born March 22, 1943 at Omar, WV to the late Paul E. Balentine and Georgia Perry. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Polly Mae Balentine, 4 sisters, Florence Addair, Laura Bell Meadows Spence, Charlotte Sue Balentine, and Rena Balentine; 3 brothers, Rush Balentine, Webb Balentine, and Jeff Balentine; and one son, Rickey Bradley.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Balentine of Micco; daughter, Paula Balentine of Micco; 2 sons, Paul E. Balentine of Micco and Billy Bradley of Cow Creek; brothers, Phillip Dell (Dee) Balentine of Switzer, Earl (Joyce) Balentine of Madison; sister, Faye (Dale) Tackett of Cow Creek; grandchildren, Paige and Polly Hobbs, Shelbee and Randalinn Balentine, and Rickey and Marlee Bradley; great-grandchildren, Carter Duncan, Haislee Frye, Allison and Kylie Bradley. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews as well as many friends and loved ones in his church family.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, September 29, 2019 at the Sarah Ann Church of God with Bro. Gary Starr, C.D. Wolford, and Bob Vance officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Saturday September 28, 2019, also at the church.
Pallbearers will be Paul Balentine, Steven Balentine, Jay Balentine, Justin Sammons, Rickey Bradley, and Justin Duncan.
