Pauline Smith Browning 87 of Ypsilanti, Michigan formerly of Logan passed away Tuesday April 6, 2010. She was born November 15, 1922 in Montecello, Mississippi, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Mary Lily Smith. Also preceding her in death was her husband Othar K., brothers Clifton, Tony, Toxie, J.D. and Joe, sisters Cenia and Mary Ollie and her companion Eddie Puskas. Pauline was a Christian and of the Baptist Faith. She was retired from Logan General Hospital where she worked for many years as an LPN.
Survivors include three children: Douglas (Dolores) Browning of Swartz Creek, Michigan, Donald (Annette) Browning of LOgan and Tammy Browning with whom she made her home of Ypsilanti, Michigan, one grandson: Douglas Browning, Jr. and special friend Liane Ruiz who provided her with great care and comfort.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday April 10, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Highland Memory Gardens with Rev. John R. Spears officiasting. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
