Pauline Pennington

Pauline Pennington, 93 of Accoville, WV went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at Logan Regional Medical Center.

She was born September 11, 1930, in Crystal, WV to the late John and Margaret (Copley) Gilbert. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Allen Dale Pennington; sons, Larry Steven Pennington, and Bobby Clyde Pennington; granddaughter, Angela Pennington Adkins; grandson, Sheldon Allen Dempsey; daughter-in-law, Evelyn Pennington, and son-in-law, Sheldon Deling Dempsey.

Pauline was a housewife, loving mother, and loving grandmother. She was a member of the Mallory Church of God for 69 years, where she was a Sunday School Teacher, choir leader, special singer, and loyal tithe paying member.

She is survived by her children, Dick Allen Pennington (Cynthia), Alice Lynn Dempsey (Joseph Fox), and Jimmy Dale Pennington; grandchildren, Dax Pennington, Darren Pennington, Derrick Penington, Jarret Mangus, Alyssa Adkins Sabo, and Jamie Luck; great-grandchildren, Holly, Rebecca, and Lillian Pennington, London Scout, and Addax Nathan Pennington, Landon Mangus, and Steven Lusk.

Private graveside services will be held for the family. She will be laid to rest in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville.
