Phyllis Rowena Cole

Phyllis Rowena Cole, 84, of Henlawson, WV peacefully passed away on Friday October 18th at Trinity Healthcare Services. She was born January 28th 1935 at Secoal, WV to the late Frank and Elizabeth Ball. She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law, Rolfe Cole; mother-in-law, Carrie M. Cole; and great grand baby, Jamie Ashton Messer. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Franklin Cole; Children: Howard “Bud” Cole of Myrtle Beach SC; Christine “Christy” Cole of Richmond, Va; Victoria “Tori-Beth” (Michael) Messer of Pecks Mill, WV; Great-Grandchildren: KJ and Cheyenne Toms both of Richmond, Va and Makaylyn Messer of Pecks Mill, WV Sister: Frances Ann Smutko of Danville, WV Brothers: Roy (Carol) Ball of NC and Bill Ball of Va. She was a faithful member of the West Logan Church if God until the onset of her illness. She enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm Tuesday October 22 at Akers-James Funeral Home. Service will begin at 1pm with Pastor Scotty Dingess officiating. Akers-James Funeral Home in Logan, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
