Phyllis T. Sadler

Phyllis T. Sadler, 79, of Wilkinson departed this life on Monday, November 24, 2014 at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born May 14, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Willard and Malaney Sadler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Jean Sadler Murphy. Phyllis is survived by her brother-in-law, Mr. Charles T. Murphy, several cousins including Inice Vance and her husband Donald, along with a host of friends and church family. Phyllis was formerly employed by C&P Telephone Company for 35 years where she was a supervisor. She was also a member of the Logan Garden Club and the Logan Woman’s Club. Phyllis was a faithful member of the McConnell Tabernacle where she served as the church secretary and treasurer for many years. She will always be remembered for her Christian love, warm smile, pleasant personality, and kindness to all. A celebration of life will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the McConnell Tabernacle in McConnell with Rev. Keith McClung officiating. A private burial for family will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Pecks Mill. Phyllis will be carried to rest by her friends and family.
