Rhonda Gail Gent

Rhonda Gail Small Gent, 54, of Logan went home to be with the Lord on Thursday May 3, 2007 following an extended battle with cancer. Born September 25, 1952, she was the daughter of Lucy Napier and Deward Small of Logan. Rhonda was a member of the Logan Church of the Nazarene and an employee of Wal-Mart Pharmacy. Along with her parents, those left to cherish her memory include two daughters; Tilah (Johnny) Fleming of Chapmanville, Stefanie McCloud of Logan. One son, Chris (Shelly) Gent of San Antonio, TX. Three precious grandchildren; Jason McCloud, Jessie Fleming and Ashleigh Preece. Three sisters; Debbie (George) Owens of Abingdon, VA., Karen Kennedy of Logan and Jennifer (Dennis) Phipps of Belington. Several loving nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles. Visitation for the celebration of her life will be from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. Saturday May 5, 2007 at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Sunday May 6, 2007 at the James Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Cale officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Pallbearers will be; Junior Amburgey, Trey Owens, George Owens Jr., Chad Vance, Dennis Phipps and Johnny Fleming. Honorary pallbearers will be Rod Jeffrey, Paul Small and Ernest Amburgey.
