A retired veteran of the Army, born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, Robert dedicated his life to honor and service. After service, he focused his education on civil engineering and contributed to the commercial construction industry, leaving an indelible mark on landmarks such as The Charleston Place and The Original Georgia Dome.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Paitsel Meadows; mother, Laura Belle Spence; brother, Hank Meadows; and sister, Connie Roberts. He is survived by his best friend and former wife of 43 years, Karla Richmond; son, Robert Meadows; daughter, Tina (Joel) Barker; daughter, Laura Meadows; six cherished grandchildren, Zachary, Hunter, Elijah, Selah, Jaxon, and Toby; brother, Paitsel (Lois) Meadows, brother, Charles (Kathleen) Spence; and sister, Annette (Dennis) Knight.
Mr. Meadows will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his loved ones and his country.
Graveside Services with military rites will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2024, at the Chauncey Cemetery in Chauncey, WV.
