It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald Edward Pack, a devoted husband, daddy, papaw, great papaw, and brother who left us on March 14, 2025 at the age of 75. He resided in Whitman, West Virginia. He was a man whose love for his family knew no bounds. He was a constant pillar of strength, a source of unwavering support, and a true example of dedication and selflessness. He worked tirelessly throughout his life to provide for his family, always putting their needs above his own. He found joy not in material wealth, but in the laughter of his family and the simple moments spent together. His love was a constant, ever-present force that will forever echo through the three generations he leaves behind. Each member of his family was precious to him in their own unique way. His greatest joy was seeing his family together, united by love and the strength of his example. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him, but his love will remain a guiding light for his family. His absence will leave a place that will never be filled.
He was a licensed contractor who dedicated his life to building many homes for others and was known for his meticulous craftsmanship, integrity, and work ethic. However, the greatest home he ever built wasn’t made of bricks and mortar. It was the loving home he created with his wife – a sanctuary of warmth and love.
He was preceded in death by his father, Artie “Bud” Pack, mother, Mary Aileen Pack, brother, Artie Pack, Jr., father-in-law, and mother -in -law, Walter and Betty Frye, and brother-in-law Mark Frye.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 57 years, Marcella “Polly” Pack with whom he shared a lifetime of memories, laughter, and love. Together they built a family that continues to grow and flourish. His legacy lives on in his children, Tina (Robert “Bub”) Cook, Ronnie (Dianna) Pack II, and Jill (Jonathan) Click. His pride in his grandchildren, Christen (Michael) Ellis, Bethany (Tyler) Woolsey, Allison (Christian) Porter, Carlee (fiancé Aden) Pack, Mia Gabrielle Cook, and Abigail Faith Click, was evident in every word he spoke about them. His great grandchildren, Lyla and Liam Ellis, Elin and Sophia Woolsey, and Lydia and Greyson Porter were the light of his life.
He is also survived by his sisters, Rosa (Roger) Farley, Gloria Frye, Drema (Leo) Galang, Sandy (Sonny) Frye; his brother in law, Walter Frye, Jr., and a host of other cherished family.
He knew the Lord as his personal Savior and attended Maryetta United Baptist Church.
