Ronnie "Jody" Eugene Marcum

Ronnie “Jody” Eugene Marcum Jr., 47 of Logan departed this life Wednesday February 28, 2018 at the Dignity Hospice House at Chapmanville. He was born April 1, 1970 at Detroit, Michigan to Eugene Marcum Sr. and Maxine (Spry) Marcum. In addition to his parents, those left to cherish his memory include: his son, J.J. Marcum of Michigan; three brothers, Shannon Lee Marcum of Logan, Edgar Allen Marcum of Dingess, and Jeffery Marcum of Logan; two nephews, Brandon Allen Marcum and Dustin Lee Marcum; and the sunshine of his life, his niece, Tahnee Renee Marcum. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday March 4, 2018 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with Pastor Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at the Opal & Edgar Home Place.
