Rose Ann Vinson, 64 of the blue ridge mountains of Ethel, West Virginia, passed away on October 2,2021, surrounded by her friends and family. She will be deeply missed by her children Jason (Karina) Hensley, Kevin Vinson, and Derek Vinson. She raised her children with love and devotion. Rose was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jesse and Shirley Hughes, brother, Charlie Hughes, and step-daughter, Summer Vinson. She is survived by her three sisters, Bonnie (Gene) Farmer, June (Kenny) Thompson, Donna Trent and one brother, Roger (Yvonne) Hughes. She is survived by multiple cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends. In 1979, she married Sammy and the two were deeply in love from that point on. Rose and Sammy were married for nearly 42 years. Rose dedicated her life to being a housewife and mother to her children. Rose had a deep devotion to her faith and had a strong love for The Lord. Her faith carried her through multiple trials of her life. Rose enjoyed gardening, reading, catching up with family and friends on Facebook but above all, family came first. Rose was a kind hearted soul. The hole left by her absence will be impossible to fill. Rose will be missed greatly; she will always be in our hearts. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021 in Highland Memory Gardens at Chapmanville, WV.
