Roy W. Beasley

Roy Wilson Beasley, 58, of Whitman went to rest Saturday May 5, 2007 in Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born December 14, 1948 in Birmingham, AL. He was the son of the late Frank and Virginia Blair Beasley. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers; Frank Beasley Jr. and John Allen Beasley. Two sisters; Dorthy Beasley and Doris Cox. Mr. Beasley was in the Vietnam Conflict. He attended The Original Glorious Church of God in Christ of Whitman. He was also a wonderful husband. Survivors include his loving wife of 24 years, Yvonne Sue Beasley. Four brothers; Stewert (Frances) Beasley of Jasper, TN., Stanley (Ann) Beasley of Jasper, AL., James (Genieve) Beasley of Jasper, TN., and Joe (Linda) Beasley of Breen AL. Five sisters; June (Tex) Boland, Frances (Jim) Williams and Dale (Terry) Boland all of Jasper, AL., and Edith (Gene) Townshend of O'fallen MO., and Lora Grace of Chicago, IL. Five stepchildren; Shelia, Ronald, Yvonne and Marcus all of Logan and Clifford of Coco, Fl. and many nieces, nephews and loved ones. Visitation will be Thursday May 10, 2007 from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Friday May 11, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at The Original Glorious Church of God in Christ at Whitman with Dr. Rocine Jackson officiating.
