Sammy L. Queen

Sammy L. Queen 72 of Crooked Creek passed away Tuesday March 22, 2011 at Logan Regional Medical Center. He was born February 14, 1939 a son of the late Wayne and Nettie Queen. Mr. Queen was a retired truck driver for Beckley Oil Co. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one grandchild. Survivors include his wife Mary Lou Queen, three sons Steve Queen of Ohio, Scotty Queen of Jeffrey and William (Bud) Patrick of Pecks Mill, daughters Patty Barker of Madison, Sheila Barker of Ohio and Matilda Ross of Texas, one sister Norma Humphrey, 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday March 26, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C.D. Wolford officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill.
