Shirley Eloise Caldwell Beavers

Shirley Eloise Caldwell Beavers, 88 of Clayton, NC, formerly of Lyburn, WV was born June 28, 1931 departed this life Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Beavers; one daughter, Wanda Beavers; one son, Millard Lee Beavers; mother, Thelma Faye Buchanan Caldwell; father, Everett Caldwell; brothers, Everett “Swanee” Caldwell, James Caldwell , George Thomas Caldwell and Carl Edward Caldwell; sisters, Thelma Conn, Caroline Smith, and Lenora “Jo” Mullins . She was a member of the Greater Life Pentecostal Church at Stollings for many years. Those left to cherish her memories are four sons, Michael (Sue) Beavers, Richard (Sharon) Beavers, Bruce (Teresa) Beavers, all of Clayton, NC, Allen (Peggy) Beavers of Lyburn, WV; daughter, Cheryl (Dwain) Counts of Falls Church, VA, and one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Beavers; two sisters, Ila Lou Harvey, Massilion, OH and Peggy Blair, Lyburn, WV; brother, Roger Caldwell of Lyburn, WV; a host of grand children, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, February 21, 2020 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan, WV with Pastor Arlie Lilly officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby, Chapmanville, WV. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, February 20, 2020 also at the funeral home.
