Stella Mae Messer

Stella Mae Messer, 83, of Greenshoals passed away Friday morning, September 7, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Romie Messer. Also by her parents, Will and Margie Adkins. Four brothers; Hal, Lloyd and Herb Adkins and Wayne Brumfield Jr. Three sisters; Zinnie Abbott, Dollie Newsome and Alice Messer. She is survived by a son, Daniel at home. A daughter, Sandy (Ron) Gartin of Sanford, NC. Two granddaughters; Connie Gartin and Kim (Gary) Starr of Sanford, NC. Two great-grandsons; Matt and Jonathon Starr of Sanford. Two sisters; Barbara (Herman) Gillenwater of Peach Creek and Freda Stratton of Greenshoals. She will be dearly missed. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M until 12:00 Noon, Sunday, September 9, 2007 at James Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Ernest Neace officiating. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby. Family and Friends will be pallbearers. Condolences may be left at www.jamesfh.com.
