Steve Lambert

Steven Charles Lambert, 54, of Cheboygan, Michigan (formally of Logan, WV and Spring Arbor, MI) passed unexpectedly on October 1, 2021 in Hamlin, WV. He was born in Mt. Clemens, MI on April 23, 1967 to the late Charles Lambert and Jacqueline (Johnson) McGraw. Steve was a graduate of Guyan Valley High School and went on to serve his country in the Navy and Marines. Steve enjoyed hunting and fishing but enjoyed time spent with his kids the most. He enjoyed helping others and worked at both Foote Hospital in Jackson, MI and Logan General Hospital in Logan, WV. Steve is survived by his 2 children Kylie Lambert and Keegan Lambert of Spring Arbor, Michigan; 2 sisters Kimberely (Tom) Orr of Culloden, WV and April Martin of Winter Haven, FL; 2 brothers Michael (Courtney) Lambert of Logan, WV and CJ (Sarah) Lambert of Huntington, WV. Steve also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins along with a multitude of friends. A combined visitation with his mother (Jackie) will be held at Akers-James Funeral Home on October 7, 2021 from 6-9pm. A combined service will be conducted at 2pm on October 8, 2021 with Pastor Rocky Chafin officiating. Steve will return to Spring Arbor, MI for graveside services and burial (date to be announced). The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Akers-James Funeral Home.
