Susan Louise Blackburn

Susan Louise Blackburn 44 of Whitman formerly of Monaville passed away Wednesday November 12, 2008 at her residence. She was born October 14, 1964 at Logan. She was the daughter of the late William Perry and Mildred Bartoe Thompson, the late Bonita (Tiny) Manns and the late Daniel Decker Sr. of Holden. She was also preceded in death by One Nephew: Michael Abbott. Susan was a homemaker. Survivors include her Two Precious Daughters: Brandi Nichole (John) Welch of Whitman and Brittany Dawn Ellis (Ray Thompson) of Holden, her Precious Son: Kevin Ray Ellis Jr. (Brandi White) of Stollings, Two Sisters: Diane (Sam) Abbott and Linda (Timmy) Smith both of Monaville, Three Brothers: Perry (Pam) Thompson Jr. of Elkview, Daniel "Buck" Decker Jr. of Whitman, Audie Clemens of Holden, her stepmother: Linda Decker of Holden, Two Grandsons: Johnny Ray Welch and Noah Hawkins and One grandchild due in April, several special nieces and nephews and one special girl who she loved like a daughter: Hannah Ellis. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday November 16, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Evans and Rev. Barney Goins officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M.Saturday November 15, 2008 at James Funeral Home at Aracoma. Pallbearers will be Jason Abbott, Kevin Ellis Jr., Sam Schultz, James Neace, Ray Thompson, John Welch and Josh Welch.
