Tammy Faye Adkins

Tammy Faye Adkins, 51 of Mudfork, WV departed this life Friday September 21, 2018, at Dignity Hospice House in Chapmanville, WV after a long hard-fought battle with cancer, she was surrounded by family and friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents Isom and Noel “Paulette” Smith, Her mother in law Christine “Polly” Adkins, and father in law Frank Saunders. She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years Barry Adkins, daughters Cynthia (Randy) Harvey of Bruno, WV and Ashley Simpson of Mudfork. 3 grandchildren Lynlee Simpson, Hayley and Mackenzie Harvey. Two sisters, Phyliss Kirk of AZ, and Donna “Michelle” Spry of NC. A host of Nieces and Nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Two sisters in laws, Melissa “Frankie” Adkins of Hamlin, WV. and Rachel (Jerry) Ferrell of Foster, WV. Loving Friends & Caretakers whom of which we could never thank enough for all their help during this time. Hollie Lucas, Heather Hill, Printess Hensley, Marcie Lucas, Judy Stamper, Crayton Dingess, Shirley Tomblin, Toni Perdue, Katrina Chafin, Emmy Meeks, Tom & Cindy Elkins, and Monica Davis, also her dear friend Tony “Buster” Blair. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday September 26, 2018 at Akers-James Funeral Home at Logan with PJ Tomblin officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens at Godby.
