Thomas Jackson Fleshman

Thomas Jackson Fleshman, Sr. 80 passed away Wednesday May 14, 2008 at his home in Stollings. He was born November 21, 1927 in Grandview, WV. He was the son of the late Vernon and Fern Haney Fleshman. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his Son: Thomas "Tuffy" Fleshman and his Brothers: Glen and Charles Fleshman. He was a retired employee of Appalachian Power Co and a lifelong resident of Stollings. He was also a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife of 55 years: Helen Jones Fleshman, Daughters: Kim (Chris) Watts of Sparr, Florida, Jan (Rod) Jeffrey of Garner, North Carolina, Four Grandchildren: Toinette Wolfe of Clayton, North Carolina, Chris Watts Jr. of Sparr, Florida, Jason Rodney Jeffrey of Garner, North Carolina and Seth Thomas Watts of Orlando, Florida, Two Great Grandchildren: Victoria Lynn Watts of Sparr, Florida and Ryder Jackson Wolfe of Clayton, North Carolina, One "Special Daughter" Sandra "Shab" Adkins of Mitchell Heights and Special Friends Lou and Sue Adkins and Theresa Chafin. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday May 17, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at James Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rocky Chafin officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Pecks Mill. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday May 16, 2008 at James Funeral Home.
